It’s back!! Festival of Holidays will take place in California Adventure from November 12th to January 9th.

This is my favorite time of year. Hands down. I love Halloween at Disneyland but there’s something about Christmas time at Disneyland that is just, magical.

Every year bands and performers come and perform on the stage in California Adventure. The wonderful part about this is Disneyland not only celebrates Christmas, but they celebrate many holidays that happen during this time of year. This is a great way to be exposed to different celebrations and appreciate other cultures. Not only that, but Mickey and the Toy Drummers will perform as well

We will once again be able to purchase Sip and Savor passes! These will expire January 9th, 2022. If you have never purchased or heard of the Sip and Savor pass here’s a quick recap:

When you purchase the pass it gives you tabs that can be redeemed at any of the booths in California Adventure. The tabs must still be attached to your lanyard when you go to redeem. Each tab can get you one food item or nonalcoholic drink. Some items can be redeemed at restaurants but tasting-size portions only.

Reminder: Sip and Savor passes cannot be used towards other events and must be used by January 9th, 2022. Do not tear off the tabs beforehand.

Santa Visits:
Santa Claus will be located at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. He will be available for pictures with the help of his elves from November 12th to December 24th.

¡Viva Navidad!
Starting November 12th you can take part in celebrations from Mexico and Brazil located in Paradise Gardens Park. There will be a street party with mariachi, samba, folklórico dancers with some of your favorite characters and some 12 foot mojiganga puppets!

Head on over to Disneyland to celebrate Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. This will also run from November 12th till January 9th. Watch as it snows on Main Street nightly. Visit the holiday overlays at the Haunted Mansion and It’s a Small World. See the beautiful snow covered castle.
December 4th and 5th Disneyland will host its annual Candlelight Processional. Check out out article with more information.

There’s no word on whether or not there will be handmade candy canes as they have done every year. We will be sure to post when they let us know. We will also let you know if they decide to have a Magic Key Holder area during the Festival of Holidays.
